ELVENKING Violinist/Keyboardist Featured On DARKEST ERA EP

February 12, 2008

Northern Ireland-based metallers DARKEST ERA (formerly NEMESIS) — who combine folk influences with the traditional style of NWOBHM (New Wave of British Heavy Metal) — have issued the following update:

"We are proud to finally announce the release of the debut DARKEST ERA EP, 'The Journey Through Damnation'.

"The EP contains four tracks recorded during winter '07/'08 in Lurgan, Northern Ireland. We're very proud of the way it's turned out, and feel it captures well a sound we've been developing for the last year and a half. Fans of the original 'Nemesis' demo will be interested to hear how things have come on. There is also guest violin on one song by Elyghen from ELVENKING, who we were proud to work with.

"The launch party is on the 23rd February at RocKD with support from Runecaster, where the CD will be available for a fiver. There are also t-shirts."

"The Journey Through Damnation" track listing:

01. The Morrigan
02. Visions Of The Dawn
03. Another World Awaits
04. On The Crest Of Doom
